Outside of practicing as an osteopath I co-founded the Centre for Osteopathic Research and Excellence, which is a groundbreaking charity offering affordable osteopathy to those who would otherwise be unable to afford it whilst performing research in both long term preventative care and condition-specific treatments. It also provides mentoring to new graduate osteopaths.

And worked for a while in the Natural Health Centre, in Totnes, which has very similar goals.

I also teach statistics to osteopaths in colleges in Ireland, Malta, Italy and the UK, whether they like it or not!
I was a co-author with Chiara Ribera in a paper published in IJOM (the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine) about our dissertation research into interoception, something that comes in useful in my work with long term chronic conditions.
